NEW GARBAGE TRUCK!!! TOTER PLACEMENT!!!

The new sanitation truck arrived this week and will go into operation on April 15, so there are a few changes that are necessary for garbage pick-up. Please pay close attention to these new and important details

1. If your toter is presently in an ALLEYWAY, it will need to be moved to the closest paved street.
2. The toter must be placed on the edge of the roadway with a 3-foot clear zone around it. If there is a vehicle nearby, place it out by the traveled roadway with same clear zone. The same thing applies if you have multiple toters, they will need to be 3 feet apart from each other.
3. Place toter with the lid facing the roadway and the handles facing toward your property.
4. ANYTHING PLACED ON THE GROUND WILL NOT GET PICKED UP!!
5. If you frequently have extras, you will need to purchase an additional toter and pay an additional fee. If you currently have more than one toter, the same will apply. Contact Town Hall to set up those fees.
6. Do not place items on top of the lid. Everything must be placed inside of the toter.
7. If your lid is not securely fastened to the toter, it will get thrown away. Contact Town Hall to purchase a new lid.
